Monopoly remains one of the most popular games in the world. Many of us have vibrant childhood memories playing it. Once my children were introduced to the game, they quickly became obsessed. They treated the money as if it was real, craving more and more property, houses, and hotels. It was strange for me as a parent who tries not to place a lot of value on money, power, and materialism. This is a story of our family’s stroll down the boardwalk of Monopoly.
