This award-winning history project explores the experiences of Japanese American survivors and descendants of incarceration during World War II. The podcast features stories of activism, contested memory, identity and belonging, as well as artistic expression and memorialization of incarceration. Historians from the UC Berkeley Oral History Center conducted 23 extensive interviews as part of this ambitious multimedia project.
