As a kid, I loved listening to stories read aloud. I have vivid memories of sitting cross-legged in front of my school librarian, mesmerized by the stories she would read each week. This love of storytelling has led me to podcasting. I have dedicated my life to amplifying stories unseen and unheard because I believe they transform the way we see, think, and interact with the world.
As a visual artist with a background in photography and film, I have cultivated an eye for composition, form, and aesthetics, and I bring this to my role as a podcast producer. I translate visual elements into sound to captivate the listener on this journey.
I received my training in Art Practice from the University of California at Berkeley (MFA in film and photography), and the University of Florida (BFA in Electronic Intermedia). I received my credentials in podcast production through the UC Berkeley Advanced Media Institute.
When I am not podcasting, you can find me swimming laps at the Y, or in the mountains skiing or hiking. I perform at live storytelling events, and have performed with
First Person Story and at
The Marsh. I am a Bay Area transplant who has long called this gem, home.
